The platform designed by Dallara for the KTM X-Bow continues to spark rumors: after the hypothesis of its use for the Abarth roadster 2 seater concept and the Alfa Romeo 4C, now check the hypothesis of a new sports car "Essential" produced by the same Dallara, thus excluding the use of monocoque carbon for other projects. As reported by Es.Autoblog, Dallara wants to bring a car from the price of 45,000 Euros to fill the gap left by Lotus, which will soon abandon the current Elise vehicles to offer different content and level. A limited edition of 100 copies per year, making the Dallara really a niche product, but no shortage of competition: in addition to sporting Abarth and Alfa Romeo, in fact, Caterham is making false papers to grab the rights to the same Lotus revive the Elise S1: Dallara could be the only one to offer in this category price of a car with carbon fiber frame, a "first fruits" before the supercar reserved.
